Kamila
Kamila has been a Professional Pet Stylist since 2011 receiving her diploma from B-Pro Grooming Academy. Her early career was at Pet Value’s high volume salon where she mastered her grooming skills, including learning advanced styles by attending grooming seminars and trade shows. After realizing her natural patience in handling difficult and nervous dogs, coupled with a desire to provide a more intimate, professional grooming experience, Kamila became the proud owner of Doggie Delight in 2018.
Svitlana
Svitlana graduated in 2019 from the Vogue Dog Grooming School in Ukraine. After graduating, she worked at one of the popular Vogue Dog salons in Kiev. Unfortunately, when COVID started, as did many businesses around the world, the salon was forced to close. However, Svitlana took advantage of a terrible situation and persevered to open her own pet salon. When the Ukraine War broke out in early 2022, Svitlana and her children were fortunately welcomed by Canada, and shortly afterwards walked into Doggie Delight where she was seen as an ideal fit to join our growing, talented team. Her grooming skills demonstrate flexibility with all breeds and sizes of dogs, specializing in hand-stripping Terrier breeds, as well as capable handling of the most difficult of cats. Svitlana continues to regularly attend master classes to improve her skills, abilities and further understand industry trends. Her work is clearly a passion, delighting our client’s by crafting their pets into beautiful pampered fur-babies.
MELINDA
Melinda has over 2 decades of dog training coupled with 3 years grooming. Obtaining her license from The Dog Grooming School in Budapest, Hungary in November 2021, Melinda's extensive experience with dogs also includes certification as an FCI dog show handler. As a groomer, she is considered a Terrier stripping expert, and a specialist with rare breeds such as Komondor and Puli. Melinda’s years of experience, coupled with her calm and gentle nature have proven a perfect fit for our passionate grooming team at Doggie Delight.
VIKTORIA
Viktoria admits loving cats and dogs as long as she can remember, even bringing stray animals home to treat their injuries, neglect and take care of them in any way possible. Grooming was initially her hobby while living in Ukraine having two cats, a dog and a rabbit of her own. When the Ukraine War escalated in 2023, Viktoria had to completely change her life and start again. Fortunately, Canada opened her arms and provided Viktoria the perfect safe haven with an opportunity to immigrate, and free to pursue what she loved most and become a professional groomer. After such a challenging journey, Viktoria finally found herself walking through the doors at Doggie Delight on Dixie where she immediately demonstrated her natural talents. Viktoria is clearly passionate, hungry to continue acquiring skills and learning the quality grooming techniques that please all our clients.
olha
Olha graduated from the Beethoven Grooming School in Ukraine in 2023. After completing the training she received an offer to work at the Beethoven Grooming Salon associated with the school. After working at BGS for 6 months, acquiring all the necessary basic professional skills, and considering the worsening situation in Ukraine, Olha was forced to leave the war-torn country. Thankfully, after many stressful months, her application to immigrate to Canada was finally approved. Upon her arrival, Olha met the friendly Doggie Delight team, which gave her an opportunity to showcase her skills, and believed in her natural grooming abilities. Olha approaches her trade with love and perfectionism. Each furry client is assessed with an individual approach, carefully considering the unique characteristics of different breeds. Every time Olha experiences the love in owners eyes when seeing their freshly groomed pets, she understands that her work is truly appreciated.
Beata
Beata has been assisting with our list of individual grooming services for over 4 years where she embodies the Doggie Delight spirit by pampering your fur-child with patience and kindness. You may often find yourself talking to Beata at the reception in person, or over the phone, assisting you with booking your next appointment with us.
